When President Barack Obama was campaigning for the presidency back in 2008, he used a certain one-word slogan and I think we all remember what that was: change. But of course, he never really defined what kind of change we were going to get, whether it be good or bad. Now that it's nearing election time again, I think it's pretty safe to say that it wasn't good change he was talking about. If you've been paying any attention to what FEMA and DHS do, you must be pretty alarmed by now. Martial law is now in place in America, all that needs to happen now is the trigger being pulled. In case you aren't familiar with the term, here's the legal definition: the exercise of government and control by military authorities over the civilian population of a designated territory.
Obviously, this is a big problem, especially because we have multiple laws to protect U.S. citizens from such a disaster (3rd and 10th amendments, and the Posse Comitatus Act).
About a week or so ago, ATK secured a contract with the Department of Homeland Security to supply them with 450 million rounds of .40 caliber hollow points for the next 1 - 5 years. They're also currently seeking a contractor to supply them with an additional 175 million rounds of .223 caliber, if you don't know, that's what goes in semi-automatic rifles like AR-15s. For what possible scenario could DHS need more than 2 bullets for every citizen in the country? And why do FEMA and military personnel need transponders designating we, the people as the enemy?
In December of last year, Halliburton subsidiary Kellogg, Brown, and Root secured a contract with FEMA to activate detention camps within 72 hours and to provide services such as temporary fencing and barricades, catering services, medical and laundry services, power generation, refuse collection, and other services required for a temporary “emergency environment.” It was also KBR that received a contract in 2006 with DHS worth up to $385 million to construct these detention camps. The "legal" precedent was set by the National Emergency Centers Establishment Act which allowed these camps to be built. Since I'm on the subject of legal precedent, let's look at some FEMA-related Executive Orders.
- 12148: created FEMA to inteface with the Department of Defense for civil defense planning and funding.
- 12656: appointed the National Security Council as the principle body that should consider emergency powers.
- 10990: allows FEMA to take over all modes of transportation and control of highways and seasports.
- 10095: allows FEMA to seize and control the communication media.
- 10997: allows FEMA to take over all electrical power, gas, petroleum, fuels, and minerals.
- 10998: allows FEMA to take over all food resources and farms.
- 11000: allows FEMA to mobilize civilians into work brigades under government supervision.
- 11001: allows FEMA to take over all health, education, and welfare functions.
- 11002: designates the Postmaster General to operate a national registration of all persons.
- 11003: allows FEMA to take over all airports and aircraft, including commercial aircraft.
- 11004: allows the Housing and Finance Authority to relocate communities, build new housing with public funds, designate areas to be abandoned, and establish new locations for populations.
- 11005: allows FEMA to take over all railroads, inland waterways, and public storage facilities.
- 11051: specifies the responsibility of the Office of Emergency Planning and gives authorization to put all Executive Orders into effect in times of increased international tensions and economic of financial crisis.
- 11310: grants authority to the Department of Justice to enforce the plans set out in Executive Orders, to institute industrial support, to establish judicial and legislative liason, to control all aliens, to operate penal and correctional institutions, and to advise and assist the President.
- National Defense Resources Preparedness: allows the Federal government to confiscate all food, water, and skilled people by declaring a state of national emergency. Really just an updated format for the older executive orders, the only difference is that it allows the President to declare a national emergency during peacetime, rather than the threat of a nuclear attack.
If you've been to an airport since 9/11, you're probably familiar with the TSA and I'll bet you aren't a very big fan of them either. They should be called the Temporary Security Agency instead because that's all they are. TSA is being used to break our will during peacetime until a national emergency is declared, because they sure as hell aren't protecting any of us. To show you just how ineffective they are, let's check out their "top 10 good catches of 2011". The word 'terrorist' isn't even mentioned in the list. Number 10, snakes, turtles, and birds...'cause that'll bring down a plane, right? Then we have a science project, a concealed non-metallic martial arts weapon, inert landmines, a stun gun, and 1,200 guns (for the entire year), and nmber 2 was a loaded .308 caliber pistol. Lastly, and almost as ridiculous, a "small chunk of C4 explosives". Just a small chunk? They also strip search 80 year old women, 3 who have come forward about it from one airport. Sure they've apologized, but actions speak louder than words especially when they just keep on doing it. Just like how they strip search little kids and babies, and how the government gets away with torture by calling it "pain compliance."
(I, having a soul, find this picture morally disturbing and it makes me sick to my stomach but it is necessary to illustrate just how backwards this country has become.)

Oh how I love living in the land of the free.
